This course builds on foundational data skills to teach students how to effectively manipulate data in SQL. SQL is one of the most popular database management languages available and is critical in storing and retrieving data. By the end of this course, students will be able to describe database structures, import data into a database, and combine and manipulate data within a single table.

This course is best suited to students who are comfortable working with data in Excel.

  2. Manipulating data with SQL
    • Querying and displaying data using DDL commands

    • Filtering data based upon conditions
    • Using numeric functions and working with temporal data
