Nebari Workshop

Introduces participants to Nebari, an open-source data science platform developed for collaboration and scalability. Participants will familiarize themselves with using Nebari to provide robust infrastructure that can quickly be set up — deployed — by data practitioners or administrators.

PREREQUISITES

Participants should be comfortable with Unix-like environments and with using a command-line interface (CLI). Prior experience using conda for managing Python environments is useful but not mandatory.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

1. Work with Big Data using Dask in a Nebari deployment
2. Create and deploy a dashboard with Panel and CDS Dashboards
3. Create a new environment on Nebari
4. Submit batch jobs with kbatch
5. Create a cost estimate report
